Tsegaye Kidane Mariam is back in Ethiopian Premier League action this time leading one of Southern Region soccer representative Arbaminch Ketema. Care taker coach for most of the second round fixtures Bereket Demu resumes his second in command post.

The former Agricultural Marketing FC player kicked-off the coaching carrier as assistant to his contemporary Gebremedin Haile at Trans Ethiopia then a short spell as head coach he moved to Harrar Brewery for the next seven seasons in which time he won Ethiopian Knock-out trophy. Though Tsegaye is notorious for signing more than half a dozen footballers every new season and never gone past through mid table spots, he was much admired by Harar football fans for building a ball playing side.

Tsgaye’s first ever team in the Capital Addis Ababa was Ethiopia Bunna in 2012 league season but stayed only few months for the huge pressure from The Brown Shirts Supporters. That same season Tsegaye took-over at Ethiopia NegedBank until his first ever sacking by a club three and a half seasons later. “Spending huge budget to sign players every new season yet forgetting to promote young talents from the youth team made the club Officials frustrated enough to fire him out in mid season” Said a former player who blame Tsegaye for the team’s relegation last season. “It was too late to Sisay to help the team survives” he added.

Six months in the woods Tsegaye landed a challenging job at Arbaminch a team always striving for the best but so far achieved below its supporters expectation. The challenge is that of Arbaminch to join the transfer market so late therefore Tsegaye to land second fiddlers and expected to deliver result.
